As a college student, my own struggles with stress and anxiety drove me to the practices of yoga and meditation. I recognized the importance of living a balanced life that addresses the needs of the body, mind, and spirit.
This experience proved to me that the way to emotional health must include proper care of the body and spirit, as well as the mind. To further my learning, I participate in ongoing yoga and meditation teacher trainings.
As a counselor, my interest in emotional health led me to obtain specialized training in Hypnosis, EMDR, and Guided Imagery.
Additional training taught me ways to incorporate behavioral techniques, mindful awareness, and skill building that included ways to regulate emotions, develop better relationships with self and others, and improve self care.
My passion is helping individuals living with high stress, anxiety and depression develop inner peace.
