As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have experience providing individual and group psychotherapy to children, teenagers and adults struggling with Eating Disorders and Anxiety Disorders in a variety of settings.
In addition to maintaining a private practice, I held the position of Program Director for an Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program and currently teach Practicum for Hope International University's Graduate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy.
A diverse background in solution focused, cognitive behavioral, family systems, and mind/body therapies, combined with experience and training in yoga, meditation, and hypnosis enables me to provide cutting edge treatment for emotional and behavioral disorders.
My education includes a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development. Post-graduate training and/or certifications include Treatment Strategies for Eating Disorders, Play Therapy, Yoga Teacher Training, Meditation Teacher Training, Hypnosis, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and Yoga Therapy.
